The tour begins at one of three patriarchal basilicas: St. Paul Outside the Walls, burial place of the apostle Paul. Next, you'll proceed along the ancient Appian Way, passing the Chapel of Domine Quo Vadis before arriving at the Catacombs, the ancient underground cemeteries and hiding places of the Christians. On our way toward the Saint Peter's Basilica you will visit, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna and the Fontana di Trevi, where according an old tradition throwing a coin into the fountain, guarantee your return to Rome. After a brief pause to enjoy traditional Italian meal (not included in rates) and shopping, the tour restarts with a visit to the Vatican City, the smallest country in the world, allowing us to discover the Basilica of San Pedro. For from thence out into the harbor at 16.00.
