We will travel heading south towards Siena crossing the Tuscan countryside, known as Chianti region, idyllic hilly landscape with cypresses, vineyards and olive groves to reach the elegant and beautiful walled medieval city of Siena, the second largest city in Tuscany.

Discover the beautiful the Basilica of St. Domenico with the famous relic of St. Catherine of Siena, not far along the narrow medieval streets we have chance to visit the birthplace of Santa Catherine, now become a shrine of the female patron saint of Italy and doctor of the Church.

Continuing with the tour of the old town of Siena toward the Duomo (cathedral), we will stop for a short break in the Piazza del Campo, the most beautiful medieval square in Italy, with the the Governor Palace, famous for horeses races Il Palio. Free time to discover the most beautiful leather shops around the square.

Going back to Florence, pass near the vineyards and olive groves of the via Chiantigiana to the walled village of Monteriggioni, a jewel built in the thirteenth century. Stroll along its medieval walls still intact and admire its beautiful 11 towers. (Time for an ice cream or coffee), before reaching your hotel.

Payments

Rates can be paid at the end of each excursion directly to the driver in Euros cash, Euro travellers’ cheque. Travellers’ cheque has a Euro 5.00 charge for bank fees. Visa and Mastercard credit cards are welcome in advanced. Credit card payments are subject to a 5% bank fees surcharge. Booking 3 services: Livorno - Civitavecchia - Naples require a deposit of 10% at least of one. The final balance will have to be made at the end of the tour. Our rates are for vehicles NOT for number of persons.
